ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia Lady Bulldogs basketball head coach Joni Taylor will join the SEC Network this weekend as an analyst for the show SEC Now on Friday and Saturday.

Three teams — Mississippi State, South Carolina and Texas A&M — are competing in the NCAA Sweet 16 at various regional sites. Taylor will join hosts Peter Burns and Dari Nowkhah as well as a rotating cast of analysts to break down the day’s games.

The crew will be live in studio throughout the weekend, including full shows at 10 p.m. on Friday and 11 p.m. Saturday.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to join the SEC Network’s coverage of the 2018 NCAA Tournament,” Taylor said. “This league is full of student-athletes and coaches who are the very best at what they do. I’m excited to help tell their stories and give insight into the most competitive conference in women’s college basketball.”

We had a phenomenal year in our league with seven teams making the NCAA tournament. I hope fans will join us in our coverage of Mississippi State, Texas A&M and South Carolina as they look to represent the SEC on the biggest stage in our sport.”

Taylor and the Lady Bulldogs just wrapped up the 2017-18 campaign in the NCAA tournament after boasting a 26-7 overall record and second-place finish in the SEC standings.

The 2018 Georgia College Coach of the Year and Werner Ladder Naismith National Coach of the Year semifinalist will serve as an analyst for the first time in her career as she provides special insight for the remaining teams.
