[su_spacer size=”40″] The event was part of the school’s Meet Your Teacher date, which is held annually ahead of each new academic year. The Lady Bulldogs have adopted the fifth-grade class at Stroud Elementary and will visit the students throughout the year.

We want to be role models for young people and show them what is possible for them. There is no better way to do that than with elementary school kids and what we are doing here today.”

The group delivered backpacks full of school supplies to each of the students in the fifth-grade class.

I think this motivated more of our parents to come out to Meet Your Teacher because we called and told them what Georgia women’s basketball was doing for them, so they have responded very faithfully. We cannot communicate to you all enough how much this means to us.”
