Winners of four-straight games, including a victory at No. 16 Texas A&M on Sunday, the Georgia Lady Bulldogs basketball team is back in the top-25 of the USA Today Coaches Poll.

The Lady Bulldogs are No. 24 in the latest rankings, marking the first time since the 2014-15 season the team has landed in the top-25 of either the Associated Press or Coaches polls.

Georgia is 16-2 this season with its only two losses coming against No. 3 Mississippi State and then-No. 2 Texas. The Lady Bulldogs have seven wins against teams that won 20 or more games last year, including road victories at Virginia, Kentucky and Texas A&M as well as a home win against Georgia Tech.

Head Coach Joni Taylor’s squad is off to its best start since the 2012-13 NCAA Elite Eight team went 16-2. Georgia is also 7-0 on the road. The last time the Lady Bulldogs had a 7-0 record away from home was when the 1994-95 NCAA Final Four team began the year 18-1 overall, including an 11-0 record away from Stegeman Coliseum.

This week, Georgia is off on Thursday, before hosting Auburn at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday. The Lady Bulldogs then welcome No. 11 Missouri on Thursday, Jan. 25 for a 7 p.m. ET tipoff.
