Wednesday marked the last day of the current “dead period” in the recruiting calendar and today was the beginning of a “quiet period.” What does that mean?
During the “quiet period” recruiting prospects are allowed to take visits to college campuses, and since a number of high school systems will be starting classes in August… not to mention the start of high school football practices…, this weekend is a popular one for visits. I’ve been combing Twitter and social media, communicating with prospects, and so far, here’s who’s coming to Athens this weekend to UGA.

While some prospects will be showing up in Athens on Friday, others won’t be arriving till Saturday. 2021 DE Korey Foreman is set to visit Clemson on Thursday and Friday and then is expected to be in Athens on Saturday. While not confirmed yet, 2020 DE Jordan Burch and 2020 TE Arik Gilbert who are also visiting Clemson on Friday are expected to come to UGA on Saturday. 2020 RB Tank Bigsby is going to be at Auburn on Friday but is expected to travel to Athens Saturday.
