ImYourHuckleberry:

If you are going to beat the Dawgs you better get them early in the season.  The Gamecocks are the best opponent the Dawgs will face in the first half of the season and with a raucous crowd at Williams Brice Stadium it will be a tremendous test.  Emotions will be high and their will no doubt be a fair amount of trash talk between the lines.  South Carolina is going to have some success, but the Dawgs are too explosive for the undersized and thin defensive depth chart of the Gamecocks.  Swift, Hardman, Robertson, Godwin, Ridley and Fields make explosive plays while Fromm provides steady leadership and the Dawgs pull away.
UGA 37 – South Carolina 23.

Greg Poole:

A close game through three quarter will evolve into a solid victory for the Dawgs as Georgia’s superior depth takes over in the fourth period. The second-half return of speedy freshman running back James Cook will add to the stress on South Carolina’s defense on an always blistering September afternoon in Columbia. However, it will be a massive and deep offensive line that takes over the contest for the Red and Black.
Dawgs roast the game birds 38-17.

Jeff Dantzler:

It’s always tough in Columbia, and this one will be too.  I’ll take the Dogs in a tight one 23-20.

Vance Leavy:

It’s always tough in Columbia and the fact that most Dawg fans are way too Cocky is a real concern. However, Mecole beats Deebo in one heckuva game of chicken.
Dawgs 27- S Carolina 20.

Savannah Richardson:

The Bulldogs let the Gamecocks stick around until the second half and then it will be all Georgia. Mecole Hardman and Ahkil Crumpton out work the Gamecocks and both score touchdowns.
38-10 Georgia.

Steve Conyers:

The line of scrimmage will be a rude awakening for the Gamecocks. The game will be close going into halftime, but the Gamecocks will run out of gas in the second half and Georgia will cruise to a comfortable victory. Georgia will cover the spread (-10.5) and win 41-17.
