The 2016 NFL Combine has taken on additional meaning for several college football stars turning pro. Former Alabama OL Ryan Kelly, Auburn OL Shon Coleman, Ohio State LB Josh Perry and Georgia WR Malcolm Mitchell are using their spotlight at the upcoming NFL Combine to raise money for active duty wounded or injured members of the U.S. Military Special Operations community.

Fans can pledge to donate for each bench press rep recorded by Ryan Kelly and Shon Coleman. These former rivals at Alabama and Auburn are competing head-to-head once again to see who can raise the most money for wounded service members. Fans can pledge by visiting: pledgeit.org/matchup/eaglefund-bench.

Josh Perry and Malcolm Mitchell are also competing head-to-head by launching a vertical jump challenge. Fans can pledge for every inch recorded in the vertical jump by either athlete by visiting: pledgeit.org/matchup/eaglefund-jump.

“We are so proud that these exceptional athletes are helping us support warriors that have sacrificed so much for our freedom,” said LeAnn Lincoln, Director of Business Development, Special Operations Forces and Programs for the Wounded/Injured at EXOS.

“All four of these athletes have built a bond with our Special Operations members as they trained for the Combine at EXOS. We’re thrilled they are using this opportunity to support the Special Operations community.”

Proceeds from each NFL Combine head-to-head PLEDGE IT campaigns will benefit the Eagle Fund.

The Eagle Fund is a program developed as a partnership with the Andrews Research & Education Foundation (AREF) and EXOS, world leaders in sports medicine and human performance. This program supports active duty wounded or injured men and women of the Special Operations community.
