DAWG BONES OFFENSE – GEORGIA

The Bulldogs are coming off a performance where they put up 491 yards with a balanced attack on both the ground and through the air. The Commodores come into Saturday’s game towards the bottom of the SEC in most offensive categories. Vanderbilt is last in the SEC in both yards per game and total points per game. JT Daniels played one of his best games against South Carolina and will face a Vanderbilt defense that should not give him many problems.

DAWG BONES DEFENSE – GEORGIA

I’d highly encourage anyone that does not understand how well Georgia’s defense has played this year to watch South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer’s comments on what he saw from that group. The Bulldogs defense did allow their first touchdown of the season, but also created pressure on South Carolina’s quarterbacks all night. Once again, Georgia’s front should overwhelm Vanderbilt’s offensive line to create multiple turnovers.

DAWG BONES SPECIAL TEAMS – GEORGIA

Georgia placekicker Jack Podlesny got back on track making a field goal to end the first half in Georgia’s win over South Carolina. Once again, Georgia continues to execute in the punt game. Jake Camarda’s punt to down South Carolina at the 1-yard line led to Georgia’s defense getting a safety to add two points. Vanderbilt kicker Joseph Bulovas has hit three of four field goals this season, but it’s unlikely that he will have many tries against Georgia.

DAWG BONES COACHING – GEORGIA

For the second game in a row, Georgia offensive coordinator Todd Monken dialed up a beautiful gameplan. Many times, the Bulldogs had multiple receivers open on routes as JT Daniels found ways to put the ball in the hands of his playmakers. Dan Lanning’s defense has been dominant and Kirby Smart has one of the best team’s he has had in his tenure as Georgia’s head coach. Clark Lea is in a complete opposite position. He’s in full rebuild mode with a Vanderbilt program that is about as close to rock-bottom as it gets.

DAWG BONES OVERALL – GEORGIA

For the third week in a row, Georgia gets the clean sweep across the board. There’s a reason Georgia is the No. 2 team in the country and Vanderbilt was picked last in the SEC East. Also, expect Georgia fans to take over Vanderbilt Stadium to create a “home away from home” environment for UGA. This should be one of the easier games of the season for Georgia as long as the team does not lose focus. The talent disparity is just too strong for Vanderbilt to compete.
