Bansai buckeroo  Don’t assume the OL is ready for prime time – depth could be an issue again.

MMCSDAWG Brooklyndawg Greg Poole Is it against the rules to have him play on a hoverboard? He wont actually have to move his legs that way.

My biggest concern this year is the D-line… We are very young…these youngsters are going to have to step it up…or my 10 win prediction may be just a little optimistic…

  4. MMCSDAWG

Brooklyndawg Greg Poole Pretty sure he saw what happens first hand last year when Lambert is put under pressure in the pocket.  He looked like a scared cat during the Bama game last year while kirby was the DC!   He’s been doing this now for almost 5 years in college and for 10 or more before that, if he hasn’t acquired the skill of escaping the pocket by now, it’s not going to change between now and Sept.   Please don’t think I’m bashing Lambert, I’m not!  i really appreciate what he was able to do for us last year and he has been a DGD since arriving on campus last August!

Zippy, I wouldn’t mind paying a little more if they weren’t wasting so much money. But the government is worse than my wife..##…. Haha

Since this is a no politics site, I won’t name the candidates. Based upon their proposals, I would pay
$1K more with candidate A, $7K less with candidate B, and $11K more with candidate C.

    Guess who gets my vote.

  7. Bansai buckeroo

    Yes…keeping me in the style which I have become accustomed…thanks Alpha…. 🙂

  8. Bansai buckeroo

Yeah I guess so. Just saw a special on him Sunday. No indication he was in poor health. I use to say that would be my luck. Dying right after retiring. So far so good…haha

Bansai buckeroo when u can work till 84 at a job, i dont think that would classify as hard work lol. but sucks to hear

  10. MMCSDAWG

Bansai buckeroo Bad news, but that’s exactly the reason you shouldn’t work until your 80 something!  Thoughts go out to the family!

  11. Bansai buckeroo

Morley Safer of 60 minutes fame dies at age 84. He just retired last week . Man that timing sucks. I would be pi$$ed….

  12. MMCSDAWG

dsw61 MMCSDAWG Greg Poole Wow…  That sounds like a good way to get your mind right in a hurry!

Greg Poole Why did he need to resort to insider trading? Don’t golfers at his level make a fortune? I imagine KPMG pay him a pretty penny to wear that visor.

I suppose I am a delusional fan because I think we should do no worse than 10-2 given we are, in the one set of lines I have seen, favored by at least 7 in 10 of our 12 games. the closest line we had was one that had us as an underdog, +4.5 to UT I think. So, not sure why it is delusional to think 11-1 is entirely reasonable, but ok.
I would think the many folks who think we were barely able to tie our shoes last year due to the ineptness of the previous staff would be confident of being much better this year than our lousy results from last year.

Greg Poole It’s called Koolaiditisatosis…It’s the sensation you get when you mix the end of spring practice and a good recruiting class along with blogging with others who are afflicted with the same disease.  Symptoms include but not limited to lack of sleep, drinking, drinking more than usual, blogging at all hours of the day and night, lack of concentration and productivity at work, lack of sex drive until the fall and a need of belonging.  Symptoms fade about the middle of August.  The disease lies dormant until April of the following year.

That’s why he’s paid the big bucks…… Gives a list 95% of the people here could have come up with….##

  17. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole MMCSDAWG Dang boss, this going going to be the Best Kool-aid EVER!  haha!

  18. Greg Poole

MMCSDAWG Will EverClear go with these mushrooms I picked out by the Dairy Cow Experiment Station off Lexington Rd.?

    Kool-Aid brain warp #1:

Georgia goes undefeated in regular season but loses to Bama (by a point) in the SECCG – gets relegated to a crappy Florida bowl

  20. Greg Poole

I’m brewing a fresh batch of Oconee River water Kool-Aid. A Kool-Aid bender is coming on – I can’t feel the need

  21. Greg Poole

UGADAWGII So will I and, yes, that is what I meant. CKS will be Saban-like or Muschamp-like, not Richt-like. Right now, the little things he is doing suggests Saban-like to me.

  22. Greg Poole

RumRunnerDoogie  The policy requires suspension but does not specify which games. Maybe Kirby will be creative in applying marijuana suspensions.

UNC is not interested in G-Day:

“You’re going to be very vanilla just as we were very vanilla in ours,” North Carolina coach Larry Fedora said. “We don’t spend a whole lot of time with that. We’ll spend more time looking at what Alabama did on defense (under Smart), what Arkansas did on offense (under offensive coordinator Jim Chaney and line coach Sam Pittman) and even expand it beyond that. No matter what they’ve done in the past, they’re still going to mold the offense and defense around the talent that they have.”
