Y’all should have married a smoking hot saint like me.

  2. RumRunnerDoogie

Bulldawg36 better hope that little one doesnt get those emotions or u will be getting revenge haha

  3. RumRunnerDoogie

MMCSDAWG mine would turn into the hulk and try to break everything in sight including me haha

  4. Bulldawg36

It be dead up in here!!! What’s the heck going on dawg nation? What’s up?????

  5. MMCSDAWG

Don’t I know. …. my girlfriend has a violent steak too when she gets on the whiskey. I restrict her to wine most of the time! Lol

  6. Hobnailboot aka RobG

I like the sound of that, that definitely is encouraging. I hope that translates into some stellar commitments

  7. Jesse1

Greg Poole Suppose the Dawgs can pull off #’s 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8. The sky is the limit folks, cause iffin the Dawgs swing those 6 of 8, we’re gonna ruin some folks year. And in between will be beating to within an inch of their lives teams ignorant of the Junkyard Dawg’s, take no prisoner, devour the leftovers approach to football. With some luck on the injury fron, a select few turning their game up a coupla notches, toss in some rabid Dawg mean play, this could wind up being one of my favorite teams ever.

  8. Bulldawg36

What can I say…I’m emotional! I have emotions so I get emotional because I’m emotional!! Get it? I have emotions…because I’m emotional!!!! Go dawgs!!

  9. Bleudawg

BahitsAgain Greg Poole  ## people keep returning the photos I send them….go figure##

  10. BahitsAgain

MMCSDAWG BahitsAgain willypmd Greg Poole I predict several SEC opening in the next 2 years.

Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, Freeze’s position as he is sacrificed for violations, T&M, possibly Scar – if Boom explodes on TV

  11. RumRunnerDoogie

BahitsAgain Greg Poole this is exhibit A on why they have that phone add that makes phones useless if u turn it on to prevent this when drinking lol

  12. MMCSDAWG

BahitsAgain MMCSDAWG willypmd Greg Poole I know..  I really don’t want to see him at Auburn, but the seat might open pretty soon.  I don’t think he will go the bobo and McElwain routes, he will probably go the kirby route.  The bad thing is, if Kirby has success, the more likely the chance Pruitt is HC in the SEC sooner rather than later!

  13. BahitsAgain

MMCSDAWG BahitsAgain willypmd Greg Poole Auburn…. no!!!!

I would really like to see him go the long Bobo route and head out west, but I doubt that is going to happen.  The Pruitt train is the high speed bullet kind.

  14. MMCSDAWG

BahitsAgain Greg Poole Brings a tear to your eye and joy to your heart, if it doesn’t,  You may be on the wrong board and/or supporting the wrong team!

  15. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole Very nice.   I love that slow motion and parallax effect on several of the scenes.  I wonder how it is done.  Do you crop the player from the scene, fuzz the background, add the player back in and tinker with the image…

    regardless, well done.

  16. MMCSDAWG

BahitsAgain MMCSDAWG willypmd Greg Poole Predicting a Game against Alabama come December???  ###   Good post and pretty much what I believe too!  I think Pruitt was appalled at the total lack of support that CMR and our football program was receiving when he got to UGA.  He had been at Alabama and FSU and those schools support their football programs like no bodies business.   He will be a HC in the SEC one day soon, I hope he treats it like Kirby did and waits for the right opening.  Hell there might be an opening at Auburn in the near future and that would be right up his alley!

  17. BahitsAgain

MMCSDAWG willypmd Greg Poole I believe Pruitt filled a void at UGA that needed filling.  He didn’t need to do that at Bama.  He didn’t want his rep hurt at UGA with the lack of support from the Admin, so he stepped forward and made waves.   At Bama, he knows the support is there and his chance at an SEC HC position is only a matter of time.  He is young and hungry.

I bet Bama won’t skip a defensive beat this year.  It will be interesting to watch.  I hope we are ready for them come December.

  18. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole ” she had been tricked into believing she was communicating with UT defensive back Cameron Sutton, deceived with claims she had drunkenly sent him nude photos and threatened with exposure if she didn’t send more.
After Shanahan’s arrest was reported in the news media, records show other young women too ashamed to disclose their victimization began cooperating with the FBI. ”

there are some dumb people out there…. and lacking in moral judgment.   I don’t understand the whole sending nude pictures of oneself to people thrill.  Of course, nude pictures from me would likely bring attempted murder charges via scary pics, but that is besides the point.

  19. MMCSDAWG

willypmd DawgByte You wanna RTDB???  lol!   We might see a lot of that against UNC, they haven’t shown the ability to stop the run yet.

  20. MMCSDAWG

willypmd MMCSDAWG Greg Poole Nothing wrong with that at all…  I believe we all liked Pruitt a lot!  But you can only have one Alpha within each coaching group and Pruitt was our Alpha the past couple of seasons on Defense and hell for the team really.  But with Kirby being the new “alpha”  it was probably best that they split ways.  I think we will be happy with our defensive staff…  i really think Schuman is special.  Kind of like Pruitt was when he first came to Alabama.  Look at our camp photos and videos, Schuman is a wild man out there and very focused and direct.   I like Mel tucker as he was our DC here is Jax for a few years.  Keeping Rocker and Sherrer were big pluses for me too.  Have you noticed something different from Pruitt now that he is back at Alabama???  Probably not, because you haven’t heard a single thing published from him since he took the job.   Unlike when he was here in Athens…   There is also another Alpha over there in Tuscaloosa.

  21. willypmd

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole my only real complaint today (and I recognize it is somewhat unfounded) is that we didn’t keep Pruitt.  I am not down on the defensive staff in any way, I just think Pruitt is the best DC in the country and one of the best recruiters.

  22. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole And neither will kirby…   I see Schuman being a protege’ and I am very impressed in the offensive staff Kirby has put together!  Kirby knows defense and I believe he learned a Valuable lesson from his friend on mistakes he made when taking over at UF…   Kirby went out and got a very experienced offensive staff and with Pittman and Chaney having worked together many years, he has eliminated much of the initial confusion and miscommunication associated with first time staffs…

  23. DawgDaddy

ZippyMorocco Hey Zippy, just getting back in from golf and did not get to answer this a.m.

  24. MMCSDAWG

Bulldawg36  Scout team deamons!   I saw that too on the Dawgnation article about WR’s….  With the talent onsite and what’s coming in now, I don’t think we will ever see these young men on the field, but their contribution to our team is valuable from a scouting and preparation standpoint.

  25. Bulldawg36

Did y’all know we have two walk on split ends named Wyatt Payne and Steven Van Tiflin. Don’t know anything about these guys

  26. RumRunnerDoogie

DawgDaddy Bulldawg36 probably wont know, if a crootin insider was to say he would probably have a lot of trust lost with recruits

  27. DawgDaddy

dsw61 Is this one going to be on ESPN?  It would be a for sure watch for me if it is.

  28. DawgDaddy

Bansai buckeroo I agree Bb, beating UF ranks first but the Viles are a very close 2nd.

  29. Greg Poole

PTCDawg I have been getting some kind of popup concerning an swf file on mine – don’t know where that is coming from – but it not something I have placed on the site.

  30. MMCSDAWG

Greg Poole PTCDawg DawgByte Me too, It gives you best of both worlds, Mis-matches in the passing game and better perimeter blocking in the running game!

  31. MMCSDAWG

PTCDawg DawgByte Like we saw on a few occasions in the Spring game…  the 3 TE set using Nauta in an H-back and putting Woerner and/or Davis off the LOS is a Dangerous formation IMO!

  32. Greg Poole

PTCDawg DawgByte  I’m guessing that TE is going to be a different position  – or different variations of the position – than we have seen in the past. I will not be surprised to see 3 TEs fairly often with one of the functioning more like a slot guy.

  33. PTCDawg

Greg Poole StMarysDawg  Greg, on my android I am consistently getting something like ‘content not supported do you want to continue’ in blocks of 4. I hit cancel 4 times and it keeps going until the next time it shows up, which could be two minutes later. If I am the only one experiencing that, it is not that big a deal, just thought I would mention it in case anyone else is seeing it.

  34. PTCDawg

DawgByte  Woerner is my second choice for Freshman impact player this year but that is predicated on the assumption he will spend most of his time not being a tight end. I think he can end up being a Mike Evans clone if given the chance and we are already jam packed at TE anyway. My overwhelming vote is for WR though I wouldn’t mind seeing some 3 TE sets with him joining Blaze and Nauta on the field.

  35. DawgByte

MMCSDAWG DawgByte I agree it will be interesting. I also agree with Greg that Charlie won’t see playtime on the defensive side of the ball. Interesting thought though.

  36. MMCSDAWG

DawgByte Watching the Spring game I was impressed with how Chaney used our TE’s in multiple alignments.  There was a video posted a while back where it focused on how TE’s were being used in an H-back and split off the line as well.  I think Charlie will create mis-matches when used in this manner and I look forward to seeing how Chaney utilizes him.

  37. StMarysDawg

Greg Poole StMarysDawg Thanks.  Yes, I was referring to the signup on my PC.  The other ad popups on my mobile device (iphone) were really bad the last few times.  Appreciate the response.

  38. Greg Poole

StMarysDawg  It a signup form for our newsletter that we have as a pop-up. After you have seen it 5 times it goes away. If you are seeing any kind of ad pop up, it is not us that is causing it.

  39. BahitsAgain

DawgByte I want him as a WR.   He would be a huge matchup problem for DCs and probably a serious blocking thug down field for our RBs and receivers.

  40. Bulltoad

DawgByte I pefer him at TE just because I trust Chaney to use him and if you look at the NFL the Tight Ends are playmakers.  Gronk, Graham, etc.  If he develops he could join that type of group.

  41. MMCSDAWG

StMarysDawg I have no pop ups anytime I’m on here, whether it’s from Desktop or Mobile…  Might be something on your end.  I use Adblocker on the desktop and nothing on my mobile…

  42. DawgByte

I just read on DawgNation that Charlie Woerner has been put into the TE group.

Here’s my thought… I think Charlie’s size and speed make him an ideal Slot receiver. The TE field is loaded and crowded at UGA and I’d hate to see us squander Charlie’s talent. Someone recently suggested Smart should make Woerner an ILB. Initially, I rejected that idea in the hopes he’d be with the WR’s. Now I’m rethinking that suggestion. Woerner may make a very good ILB. What do ya’ll think?

  43. StMarysDawg

Hey guys, not sure what changed, but the popups are very annoying.  I can’t use BI on my mobile device anymore.  I understand you need to pay bills, but come on… 😉

  44. dsw61

Bleudawg MMCSDAWG BahitsAgain The LB group and secondary should be solid. Jenkins was injured much of last year with his groin injury…he barely played against Tennessee which really hurt. The DL is very talented…but as you say…they are young. The offense should be better than last year as it would be hard to be worse. The one thing I’m most confident in is Chaney improving the 3rd down conversion percentage from last season. I also think Cheney’s belief that 60% of throws are movement throws will improve QB play…a lot.

  45. RumRunnerDoogie

dawgmum MMCSDAWG Bansai buckeroo my guess is either it was just a rumor or the prospect told all these players to delete the tweets about it

  46. dsw61

Unlike last year, Tennessee is going to be a more tired team the week they play Bama. Their bye comes after the Bama game this year…instead of before like last year.

  47. dsw61

MMCSDAWG dsw61 Bleudawg BahitsAgain Avatar was from last week’s vacation in Siesta Key. I’m having trouble letting go:)

  48. dsw61

Bleudawg BahitsAgain I don’t worry much about out of conference games in years where Georgia isn’t expected to be in contention for a NC. I’m always more anxious about the in conference East games.

  49. MMCSDAWG

dsw61 Bleudawg BahitsAgain Like the new avatar DSW!   WE owe them a little PAYBACK as well!  Kirby doesn’t strike me as the type to shy away from a little skirmish between heated rivals!

  50. MMCSDAWG

Bleudawg MMCSDAWG BahitsAgain Young and hopefully Hungry!  The youth is going to hurt us a little at times, but I believe these kids are going to be something really soon!

  51. Bleudawg

dsw61 BahitsAgain Tenn needs to be throat punched. and why would anyone want to hurt Kubby? ### Hes such a pleasant young man.

  52. dsw61

BahitsAgain Really hope we beat Tennessee. Something about their fan base and Butch Jones I don’t like. Plus I think Jalen Reeves-Maybin is one of the more dirty players in college football. Pittman better have a backup center ready for the Tennessee game, because many of their fans are suggesting that Kublanow’s legs/knees will be targeted. Sounds like something Butch Jones would do if we’re to believe he put a locker room hit out on one of his own players.

  53. Bleudawg

Bansai buckeroo i never could figure BZ out. But thats not a knock. I struggle to use the interwebs…lol

  54. Bleudawg

MMCSDAWG Bleudawg BahitsAgain well we were all very familiar w/ CMR and his teams. While Im a fan of CMR and CKS I just dont know what to expect. At the risk of inflaming the board I think we are less talented in the top two classes. We have some fresh / sophs w/ some skill but they are sooooo young.

  55. Bansai buckeroo

Ok… I think you will find its unavailable on your ipad…. Anyway thanks for your response and let me know if you are successful… One of the things I miss since leaving burnzone…

  56. MMCSDAWG

Bleudawg BahitsAgain They have been able to score some points, but their defense is porous gave up a TON of rushing yards last season against mediocre teams including 645 against Baylor, when Baylor didn’t have a QB, so you knew they were going to run more.  If we are healthy and can run the ball, I believe we can win this one by 10+.  If we aren’t able to run the ball, then we should all be nervous!

  57. Bleudawg

Bansai buckeroo no sir, but Im on a desktop at the oment. i wouldnt have even tried the comments on here w/ ipad. now that I stumbled on the fact were back to livewyre I will try when I get home.

  58. Bleudawg

BahitsAgain i have no idea whats going to happen this year. that said I have some anxiety over UNC. They dont suck and we are young w/ a new staff.

  59. MMCSDAWG

Bansai buckeroo AMEN Buck.  Living here in Jax is getting unbearable again after the last 2 games.  It’s time to put Florida back where it belongs in this rivalry!

  60. MMCSDAWG

BahitsAgain Our schedule isn’t the worst I’ve seen in recent memory either!  I believe our most important game will be at home and against UTk.   We have Mizz and Ole Miss on the road the two weeks leading up to UTk coming to Athens.  One of those games should be a solid win and if my instincts are correct we will see a much better prepared and looser team show up against OM.  If our season goes as I expect we will have nothing to lose playing OM and I expect our boys to be ready and relaxed going into the Grove…  The big test comes the following week at home against UTk.  GATA and #ATD DAWGS!

  61. Bansai buckeroo

Florida is always at the top of my list but the Volnuts are a close close second…

  62. dawgmum

BahitsAgain I hope so. Making Tennessee pay is on top of my priority list for next season. I hope they are crushed there between the hedges.

  63. BahitsAgain

just looking at the schedules of our hardest early opponents and they look to have difficult “tests” before us.

Old Mess has Bama the previous week.
    Tennesee has Florida

I believe this is a big advantage for us, regardless of outcome in those games.   Both the vols and mess have to show us all their game plan, and they could be a little worn down after emotional and fierce rival games.

  64. dawgmum

ZippyMorocco Best of luck to you! I hope you have a speedy and relatively painless recovery.

  65. Bansai buckeroo

@Bluedawg and @Bansai buckeroo are tags and appear in blue… I can not “tag” an individual on my iPad…the drop down window does not appear. Are you on your iPad now?

  66. BahitsAgain

Greg Poole Tech is going to have their hands full.  Ole Miss might get a rougher game than they expect, too…. I hope.  🙂  btw, those jokers are down to 45 on the 247 recruiting board.  Tunsil… the gift that keeps on giving.

    http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa-16/2016-georgia-southern-eagles-football-schedule.php
2016 Non-Conference Schedule: Savannah State, at Western Michigan, at Georgia Tech, at Ole Miss
Most Recent Win over a Power Opponent: Nov. 23, 2013 at Florida (26-20)
Another relative newcomer, Georgia Southern didn’t move up to the FBS ranks until 2014 when it joined the Sun Belt. Like FAU, the Eagles’ last win over a Power team (the 2013 upset at Florida) was also their only-ever victory over a Power opponent.
All-time, Georgia Southern is 0-10 vs. the current ACC, 0-1 vs. the Big 12, 0-1 vs. the Pac-12 and 1-10 vs. the SEC. It has never squared off with a Big Ten program.

  67. MMCSDAWG

Bansai buckeroo Right…  I was checking in all the way up to bed time.  Not sure who it was supposed to be, but hopefully it will become reality soon!  Where is our Midnight mower @trentsmallwood when we need him?

  68. BahitsAgain

dsw61 I am sure that a lot of their games won’t be too fun to watch as they way over match a lot of the teams they will play.  However, the games like IMG would be worth the admission.

  69. Bansai buckeroo

Morning Chief…. Where’s that commit we were hearing about last night? It’s not nice to fool mother buck….haha

  70. MMCSDAWG

Bulldawg36 I saw that comment last night as well and people like that are NOT true Dawg fans IMO!

  71. BahitsAgain

Reddawg13 Greg Poole I would like to see him start as one of the QA guys and work his way in.  Our WR coach seems pretty good so far, so, where would we put him as a full time coach?

  72. BahitsAgain

Bulldawg36 I love coach Richt and hope he does great at his alma mater.   I was disappointed in his release and how it went down, but it is done and now I want Kirby to outshine all previous UGA coaches, including CMR.

The knucklehead diehards on either extreme side of the issue are annoying.  Those who wanted Richt gone got their way.  Now, grow up and move ahead and stop bashing Richt.  Those who loved Richt so much that they want Kirby to fail (and I have witnessed only a very few of those and would not consider them true UGA fans) should just take some meds and try to relax.

I am excited about this season and coming seasons….. however, that has been my way since the time I was aware of college football 40 something years ago.

  73. PatriotVeteran

Reddawg13 Greg Poole You’re right on target.       UGA football will be fun in 2016 and Winning the SECe will be a great start.

  74. Bulldawg36

Hire Hines ward on the staff..to help with the support staff and recruiting!!! Let him prove himself as a coach! He had to talk to Kirby first tho! Go dawgs!

  75. Bansai buckeroo

Morning @Bleudawg…I have a question.. If you are on an iPad how are you able to tag on livefyre? I have not figured out how to do it and was told livefyre did not support it on mobile devices….

  76. Bulldawg36

I seen last night somebody made the comment that if Kirby fails they’re gonna laugh hard at the people who demanded the change. Even if Kirby fails…Richt won’t never be back at UGA..it’s over…he is gone!!! If Kirby fails we will just move on to another coach.

  77. Reddawg13

Greg Poole Great write up! I expect Eason to start and perform admirably. He will make some mistakes. But we will do a better job of overcoming mistakes than we have in the past. We will play very hard and physical and play to win. Kirby will make less mistakes than one may think, he was trained by the best! Our team will be stronger and in better shape than ever, which will bode well deep into the 4th quarter and season. We will see players answer Kirby’s call to be great and exceed past expectations. Beamer will have our ST’s playing the caliber of football a Bulldog team should play. There will be some surprise players step up and make a difference week to week. As the season moves forward the “Why not us?” will become “Can be us!” Crazy things happen every year in college football and our Bulldogs winning the SEC is really not all that crazy! Think about it! Mizzou has won the east twice, so there ya go.

  78. Reddawg13

Bleudawg MMCSDAWG Yes he would, great film guy, great leader, and a passionate winner! Hope he ends up with Kirby along with Hines Ward

  79. Reddawg13

MMCSDAWG Reddawg13 just the films I just watched, this kid has talent and a huge will to make plays

  80. MMCSDAWG

JaxDawg MMCSDAWG According to the guys over at Rivals, it’s only open to family members…

  81. MMCSDAWG

Reddawg13 He’s a WR right??   Not sure we will have the spots available with the talent we are getting in at this position.  You seen him play?

  82. Reddawg13

Terrill Hall is a special player that boy has heart and desire, offer him please!

  83. MMCSDAWG

Bleudawg MMCSDAWG I thought the same thing…  I definitely could see coaching in his future!  He knows the game and definitely has the drive.

  84. Bleudawg

MMCSDAWG AM would make a great college qb coach if this doesnt pan out. Hes a sharp kid..

  85. Bleudawg

MMCSDAWG Bleudawg yep. ipad was useless. LHB was the 1st”blog” I ever joined and it took awhile to learn how to post for this old dude. When the format changed and my devices balked I became so confused that I eventually gave up. I always read the articles but just never could grasp the posting part. This is a fine site w/ some great folks. always love chatting w/ fellow dawg fans.

  86. MMCSDAWG

Bleudawg MMCSDAWG I totally understand!  I did alright while I was here at work, but once I got home, it was a PITA on my mobile device!  This is much cleaner and easier for us older folks!

  87. Bleudawg

MMCSDAWG Bleudawg i couldnt figure out that other stuff. lol. Im an old LHB dude w/ limited tech skills.

  88. Greg Poole

I have to run to Lawrenceville this morning, so y’all try not to tear down the house…and don’t tell Rummy I’m gone.

  89. ZippyMorocco

    MMCSDAWG ZippyMorocco DawgDaddy
Thanks Buddy. I am seeing the doc today so he can see my knee. If he says no, I have to postpone again.

  90. MMCSDAWG

ZippyMorocco MMCSDAWG DawgDaddy Morning Zip!  Big day tomorrow?  Good luck man, I will say a quick prayer for you first thing in the morning!

  91. Greg Poole

“We want to get these kids acclimated. That’s the No. 1 thing we want to do this summer,” Smart said. “Let’s figure out which kids will give us a chance to be better in the fall. I don’t know who that is. I know how they played last year. I know their measurables. But I don’t know enough about what’s inside and how they’re going to compete until they get out there with the rest of the guys.”
