UGA Student-Athletes Make the Grade

For the third year in a row, Georgia student-athletes have combined for a GPA of 3.0 or better during the fall semester. The 521 student-athletes enrolled at the University of Georgia earned a grade point average of 3.04 during the 2015 fall semester.

 
On the men¹s side, the golf team claimed the honor for the highest GPA with a 3.37 average, while the equestrian team with the same GPA of 3.37 led the women¹s teams.
 
Among the men¹s sports, the tennis team came in second with a combined GPA of 3.25 followed by swimming and diving at 3.20, men¹s cross-country with a GPA of 3.19, and track and field at 2.98.
 
Gymnastics came in second for the women with a GPA of 3.35 followed by golf at 3.24, soccer at 3.23, track and field with a GPA of 3.21, and swimming and diving at 3.14.
