Brooklyndawg Yes. They also both still have offers from Georgia. Black was offered just about a month ago and Browning back in February; so, their recruitment is still fairly in the early stages. Top school lists can change. However, they were probably long shots to begin with.

  2. Patbob

Jesse1 ZippyMorocco i had the chance to see him finish the last round he played at Augusta. One of my best memories.

  3. Bulldawg36

Mr Poole must be out there on the practice fields! Wonder if it’s windy in Athens?

  4. Jesse1

Brooklyndawg Long Time Coming: It’s gonna be a long, long time, before the dawn. David Crosby circa 1969.

  5. Jesse1

MMCSDAWG Brooklyndawg MMCS. Saw your post about Alex Cooley’s Champagne Jams of 78′ and 79′. I was a participant in both of those thrashings of the Flats, and the Dog Days of August Rock Fest in 77′. Damn we wuz some lucky yung uns.

  6. Reddawg13

Bulldawg Bob2 BenKellam Greg Poole Please lord, can I have a dual threat QB to go with the passers we have?

  7. Jesse1

MMCSDAWG Jesse1 Colonial Dawg Greg Poole I was at both of the Champagne Jams. 78 and 78. Plus the Dog Days Rock Festival in 77. Thank you Alex Cooley, for a hella lotta good times.

  8. Jesse1

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole These folks have all, to a Man and Woman stood above the rest. Shoot, they probably choose who we get to vote for. And all this nomination process is simply dark comedy. Or a wicked sense of humor. But I’m not cynical.

  9. Jesse1

DawgByte MMCSDAWG dawgmum Greg Poole He needs to circle them like Steve did.And put the hate in it from a players prospective. Being a South Georgia boy, that ought to be a minute steak 😉 There ain’t no reasonable reason why we ought not skin the gator 6 or 7 out of 10.

  10. Jesse1

Greg Poole Gotta be loyal to the paying spectators. At least put up a good appearance. Salesmen are actors. Actors are salesmen.

  11. Brooklyndawg

Hey, BB2, are these two characters still on your targets lists?

5* linebacker Baron Browning released a top 10 with no UGA. 4* WR Tarik Black also released a top 5 with no UGA.

  12. Jesse1

ZippyMorocco Jesse1 I’m told that that following Palmer was in our case a family affair. Then Dad met Nicklaus and started pulling for him when few were. Probably cause they were both fat boys.

  13. Reddawg13

CLTDawg PTCDawg Well according to Coach Ekler (and he may have sour grapes) Schotty was not allowed to have much freedom to install his own offense and ideas. He was told what he would do. I of course do not know, but something was bad wrong.

  14. MMCSDAWG

BahitsDawg Greg Poole Just like Auburn last year…  let’s see how this one works out!

  15. MMCSDAWG

ZippyMorocco Jesse1 Always one of the best to follow around during the practice rounds at Augusta!

  16. MMCSDAWG

CoreyDawg34 BahitsDawg Greg Poole Like the Avatar Corey!!!  Time will only tell, but I believe Kirby will have the boys ready when ole Butchy comes to town 1 Oct!

  17. Jesse1

BahitsDawg Jesse1 Bulldawg Bob2 PTCDawg All of the above. Plus playing not to lose made certain we would.

  18. Jesse1

Think we may have seen Arnie with Jack, Gary,  the last time at ANGC. Man made the modern game of golf. He looks tired. Real tired.

  19. Jesse1

BahitsDawg Greg Poole Has LSU found a way to get out of their own way? Clemson would boatrace their fat, ugly, and down right dumb a double s’s.

  20. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole SECLSU – 38.8 percent
    Tennessee – 28.3 percent
    Alabama – 10.8 percent
    Georgia – 10.5 percent
    Ole Miss – 5.7 percent

Why so much love for LSU… again?   Have they found a QB?    I don’t mind everyone favoring the vols early.  I am tired of being chosen and disappointing.  Let someone else have that honor.

  21. BahitsDawg

Jesse1 Bulldawg Bob2 PTCDawg It was ridiculous.  Maybe Ramsey really was awful, or CBS was just plain too stubborn to go with him, but a little gun slinging would have loosened the defenses up for more running.   Lambert didn’t get pressured that much, so blaming the O is too much for me to bear.

  22. Jesse1

Bulldawg Bob2 PTCDawg #1, #1, #1 and one more time #1. two future NFL tight ends, and neither have any meaningful impact. Were never given a chance to.

  23. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole Tenn. at 5?  there are going to be – once again – a lot of butt hurt hill billies about 5 or 6 games in.

  24. TtownDawg

MMCSDAWG TtownDawg Greg Poole  This is his last masters, I will not be surprised if he makes the cut.

  25. BahitsDawg

Greg Poole I am surprised ours is in the top 25.  The thing making it hard imho is our lack of depth and new coaching staff and possibly new QB.

If we had one of our top 5 teams over the last 15 years, this season would possibly have been a cake walk…. I know, should have been the last few years.

  26. MMCSDAWG

BenKellam MMCSDAWG Right, that a whole that I don’t believe he will be able to dig out of.

  27. MMCSDAWG

Anybody else see what Big Ernie Els did on #1?   Dang!  Many was on the green in regulation putting for birdie from 6 feet and made a 10!  Took 7 more putts to hole out.  I felt for him that was painful to watch!

  28. MMCSDAWG

PTCDawg Not going to defend Shotty either, but I will make another point.  CBS was NOT allowed to pick his own staff or install his own offense.  His entire staff was already in place and I would have to guess that CMR told him he would have to deal with what he had.  More often than not, an OC would want to bring in their own personnel and people they have worked with or shared philosophy with in the past.

  29. Greg Poole

BenKellam Part of that is dampening expectation, but I agree that it is a recruiting tool.

We need to build depth at UGA, young stud. Join us and play early as we build toward an annual championship run”
