I thought the team looked very energetic today. The defensive line got the message from Rocker on Tuesday. As you will see in practice video they were hustling in his drills.

Everyone is a pundit. This list is a joke. How can Ole Mi$$ be way below LSU?

PTCDawg Brooklyndawg I do think there’s reason to be hopeful at this point. Supposedly we’ll know in 10 days, which just happens to be one day after GDay. Interesting.

  6. PTCDawg

Brooklyndawg if the information is accurate, and I have no reason to think it isnt, we are really looking very very good for DRob. I am one of those that hasnt ‘moved on’ from the #1 receiver in the nation. The biggest obstacle we seem to have at the moment is I am starting to be optimistic again, which is NEVER a good sign.

Hobnailboot aka RobG I think so, as well, but not many folks are taking notice of him. That might be a good thing.

  8. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Greg Poole  I’m looking forward to seeing him progress, I think he could turn out to be one of the better utility backs we’ve had in a while

  9. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Greg Poole Hobnailboot aka RobG  it definitely slows down around here at supper time

  10. Greg Poole

Hobnailboot aka RobG I was beginning to think no one was going to read the comment.

  11. Hobnailboot aka RobG

Greg Poole  he’d make a hell of a chiller mechanic##, I can’t tell you how many times I needed one

Jesse1 MMCSDAWG Spent many late nights at the old Alex Cooley Electric Ballroom on Roswell Road in Buckhead.

RobDawg  Yep. Can’t see the number either but have been around him enough to recognise him. He will be one of our interviews tonight.

When we first arrive today they were running pursuit a drill with the entire defense. This is the thing that CKS is talking about he mentions “running to the ball.” Several purposes – conditioning, cuts off cut-back opps for RBs and gets bodies near the ball to clean up missed tackles, pick up fumbles etc.

Tight ends and OL are working together on several drill. This is new and is evidence of the emphasis on the run game.

  15. DawgDaddy

RobDawg I think so, not able to see the number so I think he is the only single digit numbered RB.

MMCSDAWG CoreyDawg34 BahitsDawg Greg Poole Does Eason step in to the starting role by then? Hmmmm, interesting to contemplate.

All reports indicate that senior RB Brendan Douglas was good to go today and participated fully in practice. That is good news. I’ve been concerned about depth at the RB position this spring.
