Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

In high school I wanted and wore #60 after Tommy Nobis….the number can be very important to these kids……

dawgmum DawgByte Greg Poole It’s Friday afternoon and the wine is flowing! LOL!

  3. DawgByte

Greg Poole I wake up every morning have a cup of Java and do this routine with my Yo-Yo!#

  4. DawgByte

Greg Poole Mind blowing. Incredible skill!!! One of the best to ever put on a UGA uniform.

JessCapel MMCSDAWG 1mandawgpack Greg Poole  I have a TV in a really nice covered area under my back yard deck and my wife banishes me to that area during all UGA football games, so I resemble that remark.  All my neighbors’ kids can cuss with the best of them at school after learning all sorts of inappropriate language during college football season from that crazy man who lives next door.

  6. JessCapel

Greg Poole JessCapel Rights to Rocky Top?…guess no help there either, most would rather have a root canal than hear that oldie but baddie.

  7. Greg Poole

1mandawgpack Carter delayed until “the weekend”. There are seval cadidates for the other commit. Just fyi, I think July will end with 4 minimum.

  8. JessCapel

MMCSDAWG 1mandawgpack Greg Poole And I will support the decision too as long as it’s Eason, otherwise, I’ll impotently yell at the TV until he is inserted.

  9. MMCSDAWG

1mandawgpack MMCSDAWG Trent Smallwood I know..  I hope it’s Holliman.  I have no inside knowledge and I will be happy with Carter and Thomas!  Anything else would be icing on the cake.

  10. 1mandawgpack

MMCSDAWG 1mandawgpack Trent Smallwood  Thomas is definitely committing Sunday, I was just trying to figure out who the other 2 might be as Carter has mentioned delaying his commitment (not sure for how long) and who the 3rd might be (there has been a lot of chatter about Holloman recently, but it could very well be someone else).

  11. MMCSDAWG

1mandawgpack MMCSDAWG Greg Poole Me too!  I will support whomever is our QB 100%!   like I’ve said many times now, i have absolutely nothing against Lambert and I really appreciate what he done for us so far!  And hell, Bryce might be the wild card in this competition for all we know!  I know Bobo loved him. I’m just ready to get his party started!

  12. MMCSDAWG

1mandawgpack Trent Smallwood That would make for a Great weekend.  I just don’t trust that Holliman is done with his recruiting!  He seems to enjoy the limelight too much to commit now!  But, if he wants to play at UGA he better get on board quickly!

  13. 1mandawgpack

MMCSDAWG 1mandawgpack Greg Poole  I have complete faith that the coaches will start and play whichever QB gives us the best chance to win on a weekly basis and will support that young man (and any other of our QBs who might get playing time during games) fully.

  14. MMCSDAWG

BahitsDawg RobDawg That’s why I prefer the NFL combine type vertical jump measuring device.  Put the sticks up there and see how high you can touch.  I want to know how high you can “reach” not hover.. lol

  15. 1mandawgpack

So down below, Trent Smallwood mentions 3 potential commitments in the next few days.  Do we think that means Thomas on Sunday, Carter at some point this weekend, and Holloman (unknown date)?

  16. MMCSDAWG

    1mandawgpack MMCSDAWG Greg Poole

And if we do have a QB that can stretch the field…  Could get interesting!  All the more reason to put the guy in with the best arm! lol!  I’m still sticking with my Eason prediction!

  17. BahitsDawg

1mandawgpack MMCSDAWG Greg Poole toss in a few completed down field passes a game, and the running holes should be significant.

  18. RobDawg

It looked like he hung up there at the apex of his jump a little bit. Lots of spring

Bansai I have to click the link above the picture itself. I cannot view them at all clicking the picture of the video itself

MMCSDAWG Greg Poole  If that is the case, and assuming that Chubb and Michel can return to “normal” form fairly quickly, we won’t need phenomenal play from the QB position.  Towards the end of 2014, everyone knew that we were going to run Gurley and Chubb a significant number of times and didn’t have a great downfield passing game, and they still couldn’t stop us.  If our line is significantly better than that line, we’ll be tough to stop running the ball.

Greg Poole This could be the most improved unit this year!  And good lord knows what it will look like in 2-3 years!
