Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

PTCDawg It’s their call, I hope they commit soon so our coaches can spend more time with the current team in getting ready for our first game on September 3rd.    After they commit, I hope they get with their HS Coaches and Teachers and prepare themselves to be Early Enrollees.     EE’s have more time to prepare for the 2017 season and be eligible for the huge 2017 Spring 93K GDay       GO DAWGS

DawgByte Greg Poole Definitely CKS and Coaching Staff are looking under every rock to discover the best players in Georgia plus surrounding states.      If I was one of those great talented players, I’d seriously wouldn’t wait too long, I’d commit to fill that open slot the first time I’m physically talking to CKS or Coaches.     Don’t let someone else fill your slot.

Hobnailboot aka RobG Bulldawg36 He’s a punter too. Punts the ball and is the first one to make the tackle!#

DawgByte Greg Poole I think the current commits n the class of ’17 could take a lot of credit for this. Those guys are building a team, in every sense of the word.

Greg Poole As Kirby well knows, if he convince the Top 20 players in this state to play for the home team and we can cherry pick studs from Florida, Tenn., SC & NC and some western kids then we can build a dynasty. Long way to go though, but the future does look brighter.

Anyone see the Solomon story? Apparently we made a huge impression on him this weekend. Bama prior to this weekend appeared to be in the driver seat for Solomon, but no longer. This would be a huge get for the Dawgs if we could land that kid. We need serious talent at the DL position.

I am glad to see us getting these in state O lineman! I have always felt that there were some really good O lineman here and he is my reason. There is great D lineman, LB’s and DB’s in this state, there are also great RB’s that put up great numbers, to do that against the great D’s in this state there must be great O lineman.

PTCDawg DawgLink “There’s no place like home.”  I have known that since I was a kid, haha.

Gwinnett is a shade better than Cobb recently so if this kid excels in the Gwinnett youth league that is saying something. Watch out for him.

  10. PTCDawg

DawgLink  “It felt as if I was home.”… Can’t get much more promising than that!!

dsw61 Greg Poole I think all the schools that Lawrence is considering will have a lot of Quarterbacks in front of him with a lot of Stars.

  12. Greg Poole

I think he gets ‘some’ also…just responding to the comment that was limited to 3 players

Greg Poole Personally.. I think Madden gets some minutes this year… He and Cleveland seem to be “getting” what Pittman is selling at those Interior slots…

Greg Poole Bulldawg36 Hardin?  Watching he and Allen alternating in the Spring game… Can’t imagine Hardin on the field this year…

  15. Greg Poole

Bulldawg36  Guessing that he get less PT than those two is not the same thing as “no faith”.

He deleted it. Evidently his phone has been messing up and he tweeted like “z zz zz flash drive hdhebei” and Jake reuse from rivals was like a little early to be hitting the sauce

  17. MMCSDAWG

No surprise for me. I clearly stated I wanted him more see than d brown. Kid had the size and the quickness. He will be a contributor for sure!

  18. Bansai buckeroo

Yeah, I like the fact he is not carrying around a lot of bad weight. He can concentrate on putting on muscle…
