Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

Wasnt/isn’t one of CTG. Problems is he still tries to run “His NFL Scheme” and say these kids have to adjust and Learn it. So his film might have actually been somewhat useful…..

My vote for the most immediate impact of any new incoming palyers/signees.

Jesse1 Greg Poole A tranquilizer would not take effect quick enough, had they done that he would have thought the kid did it and it would have been bad, there should be no way to fall into these closures period, bad parents or not

  4. biggityben

In case it hasn’t been mentioned, Harris English is atop the leaderboard today.

  5. Bulldawg36

College spun rated The chicken helmet the 4th ugliest in cfb…the ugliest the the honey comb tech helmet!!! I told y’all that sc had an ugly uniform!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greg Poole And, 50 years and back. Litkenhouse, Freeman, Walter Camp polls were as credible (maybe more ) than AP which was from it’s inception until the 60’s a Notre Dame, Big 10, Pacific Coast Conference aka Pac-12 club. Almost exclusively. Texas, Okie, and a couple of barbarians  claimed some AP love. But not often.

  7. Bulldawg36

Yep. Some just can’t control their kids. It probably took some time to crawl underneath the wiring. I guess the mom just wasn’t watching

DawgDaddy Rickpope2330 I firmly believe UGA should hang banners from 27′, 42′, 46, 68′ and 80. Most schools these days proudly wave anything proclaiming any version of a thing called championship.

  9. DawgDaddy

Rickpope2330 We all know they claim more titles than they actually have, this just serves as further proof.

75tranzam Lucas Rogers Greg Poole Won’t happen, but as a service to society, and pull in the reins on free range children, if found negligent, the parents should have to repay the cost of acquiring a new gorilla. Plus damages. The gorilla is a top dollar attraction. Now this zoo is down a man. The zoo deserves recompense. Horse whip the parents for good measure.

  11. Jesse1

Greg Poole Shame the zoo couldn’t deploy a sleeping agent vs a bullet. The gorilla must have been getting too anxious.  Normally the human is the only upright walking animal that harms the young. Usually the simian will protect a young child. Especially a female.

Bulldawg36 Maybe, but this is the two year cycle for TCU and Patterson to be  a tough out. Still good, but another year before the 13/14′ caliber. Arky might prevent them from getting to play with the ball much. Muscle teams are learning how to hang with the basketball on grass squads. Throw some true blue triple option on any team these days. Panic will take on a new meaning. And if you can’t stop it…….. see MSU Orange Bowl 2015.

Bulldawg36 If i was throwing down a stack of dead presidents, my call would be McElwain. Saban won’t say anything about his pupils. And Muschamp ain’t about to be giving a primer on remaining “cool under pressure” any year soon.

75tranzam Lucas Rogers Greg Poole in this twitter video you can hear the mom say “mommy loves you”

  15. 75tranzam

Lucas Rogers Greg Poole Where were his parents during this and how could it be this easy to get into the enclosure?

  16. 75tranzam

Lucas Rogers Greg Poole From the article:

Maynard said it appeared the boy went under the rail, through wires and over the moat wall.

  17. Greg Poole

Bulldawg36  Did he provide examples or suggest how outcomes changed based on that supposed flaw? I’m guessing, ‘no’.

  18. Greg Poole

Bulldawg36  Not much comparison between NFL and CFB.  Would Grantham’s NFL defense have been instructive for you?

  19. Bulldawg36

I was reading the Lindys cfb preview- and a rival coach said Kirby was good but loses his cool to easy. Wonder what rival said that ?

  20. Bulldawg36

He’s been a DC for a long time Greg. I’ll just go watch some videos to develop my opinion!!!!

  21. Bulldawg36

What are Mel Tucker’s strengths & weakness as a DC???!!! Somebody enlighten me!!!!!! I needs to know!!!!!

Happy Memorial Day weekend to the crew.

Something has been puzzling me for quite some time regarding the recruitment of Cam Akers. In every article the discussion is around Cam being a 5 star RB. Has anyone seen the films on this kid? In point of fact he’s a QB who happens to run a lot. I wish journalists and Interweb recruiting guru’s would point that out instead of making the reading think Akers is a prototypical RB, because he’s not.

  23. Greg Poole

We will not be covering any of the satellite camps but will be on hand for the Kirby Smart Camps in Athens scattered over the next 45 days or so – starting 06/02

  24. JustWantToKnow

Do we have any chance to get Patrick Hudson from Baylor? Maybe Pittman relationship can make it possible.

  25. ZippyMorocco

    Back to the future
    Bama won the 2113 NC

  26. Rickpope2330

Didn’t break many tackles but was always moving forward and hitting the holes. I thought he looked better on defense. Some really nice form tackles and closing speed

DawgDaddy Me Too double D , then settling in for a couple of Car Races today !  100th running of The Indy 500

  28. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole In the first minute of the vid the guy marking him with the arrows and circles missed every time, haha.

  29. DawgDaddy

Greg Poole Good for Leonard.  I hope he is able to manage it well.  I think he will make a lot more than that before it is over.
