TODAY’S FEATURED PROSPECTS

Michael Fletcher

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: SDE

HT, WT: 6-6, 240

SCHOOL: Carman-Ainsworth High School

CITY, STATE: Flint, Michigan

# OF OFFERS: 16 offers

UGA OFFER: February 15, 2018

STATUS: Undeclared

NEWS:

Michael Fletcher is a four-star strong defensive end from Carman-Ainsworth High School in Flint Michigan.  He’s so explosive on the edge. Fletcher runs a 4.71 40-yard dash and it shows on his film. Despite his 6-6 240 pound frame, Fletcher can cover some ground. He’s a quarterback hunter and could prove disruptive at the next level. Fletcher appears to be a natural leader in his film and sees the field well.

Michigan and Michigan State appear to be in the lead for Fletcher, but with the recent offer from Georgia, his recruitment is up in the air. He visited Georgia on March 3, so the Bulldogs are fresh on his mind. Fletcher’s a big-time prospect, and think this one will either end quickly or he could draw it out.

Derick “Rambo” Hunter

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: SDE

HT, WT: 6-4, 281

SCHOOL: Dunbar High School

CITY, STATE: Fort Myers, Florida

#OF OFFERS: 40 offers

UGA OFFER: Yes, February 14, 2018

STATUS: Undeclared

NEWS:

Derick “Rambo” Hunter is a four-star strong defensive end from Dunbar High School in Fort Meyers, Florida. With Hunter’s size, he could move to a defensive tackle, and plug in where John Atkins played for so long. He’s explosive and can run over an offensive lineman with ease. Hunter’s long arms help him push aside opponents and grab quarterbacks with ease. He’s a huge prospect, that with the right discipline and development could be a potential first-round draft pick. Hunter fits into Georgia’s scheme well and could make an impact early if he can compete at the next level.

Georgia is the team to beat for Hunter, and I don’t think any other team could give him what Georgia can. A one time Miami commit, he opened his recruiting back up last November and exploded onto the recruiting scene. With 40 offers, there isn’t a school that isn’t interested in Hunter, however, after speaking with him it’s evident he likes Georgia.

Justin Eboigbe

CLASS: 2019

POSITION: SDE

HT, WT: 6-5, 261

SCHOOL: Forest Park High School

# OF OFFERS: 25 offers

UGA OFFER: Yes, January 27, 2018

NEWS:

Justin Eboigbe is a four-star strong defensive end from Forest Park High School in Forest Park, Georgia. He ranks as the No. nine strong defensive end, and shows it. Eboigbe is a monster on the edge. He’s a head hunter, and can explode through an offensive line. Eboigbe has that ‘it’ factor and is so smart on the football field. He clearly has a high football IQ, and sees the field so well. He’s got long arms that can reach quick backs, and its clear he isn’t afraid to cover some ground, and he can cover it. Eboigbe is one of the biggest guys on the field, and is just a step above in talent.

His recruitment appears to be wide open, and it seems this guy gets an offer every other day. Eboigbe currently has 25 offers, with the latest coming from Alabama after he attended its Junior Day. This will be a guy to wait until National Signing Day in February and as of today, the Bulldogs appear to have the slight upper hand.
