Georgia’s Trent Phillips has been chosen as an Honorable Mention All-American, according to an announcement Monday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Phillips earned First-Team All-America honors in 2020 and he was a Second-Team pick in 2019.

Phillips completed his junior season with a scoring average of 70.81. He won the Gators Invitational, and he placed fourth in the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate, seventh in the LSU Invitational, and eighth in the Tallahassee Regional. Phillips was named First-Team All-SEC by the league’s coaches for the third straight season. He helped Team USA regain the Arnold Palmer Cup as he went 2-1-1 in his matches against international competition. Most recently, Phillips claimed medalist honors in the 68th Sunnehanna Amateur.
