The UGA women’s golf team fired a 7-over 295 in Monday’s second round of the ANNIKA Intercollegiate Presented by 3M, leaving the No. 9-ranked Bulldogs in 11th place entering Tuesday’s final round at Olympic Hills Golf Club.

Juniors Jillian Hollis and Rinko Mitsunaga both posted par-or-better scores on Monday, with Hollis signing for a 2-under 70 and Mitsunaga inking an even-par 72. Georgia also counted a 76 from Isabella Skinner and a 77, the tally recorded by both Gabriela Coello and Bailey Tardy.

“Jillian had another great round, and Rinko also played very well,” head coach Josh Brewer said. “We just missed on a couple of other good rounds. When you play a field like we’re playing this week – national championship caliber field – you need all five players to post great scores. We have that in us, and we’ll try to do so tomorrow.”

Overall, Hollis is tied for eighth on the individual leaderboard at 2-under 142, while Mitsunaga is tied for 32nd at 149 and Coello, Skinner and Tardy are all tied for 47th at 155.

The tournament features nine of the top-13 teams in Golfweek’s preseason rankings.

No. 8 Arkansas is atop the team field at 570. The Razorbacks own a four-shot lead over No. 2 Stanford and No. 11 Texas. The rest of the leaderboard features No. 1 UCLA at 575, No. 7 Furman at 577, No. 13 South Carolina at 579, Baylor and Miami at 592, No. 10 Southern Cal at 593, No. 12 Florida State at 596, the Bulldogs at 600 and Minnesota at 616.

Furman’s Natalie Srinivasan shot 4-under 68 on Monday and is the individual leader at 6-under 138. She leads the trio of Patty Tavatanakit of UCLA, Maria Fassi of Arkansas and Mika Liu of Stanford by two strokes.

The Bulldogs will be paired with Florida State and Minnesota on Tuesday, teeing off 10:50-11:30 ET. Live scoring will be available here.
