The University of Georgia gymnastics team continues preparation for the upcoming 2020 season and will host its annual “First Look” on Tuesday, December 17 in Stegeman Coliseum at 6:30 p.m.
The “First Look” will be a chance for fans to see the GymDogs’ new routines before the season officially begins on January 3 at the Critique Classic Invitational in Kissimmee, Florida, against Bridgeport, Iowa, and Oregon State. Georgia welcomes the LSU Tigers to Athens for the home opener on January 10.
With added depth to the roster, the GymDogs will split into the Red and Black teams to compete on Tuesday. Each team will have four or five gymnasts compete, depending on event, with three scores counting per event for each team to determine a winner. The top five scores from all gymnasts will also be counted to generate a cohesive team score.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. and admission is free.
