Major Burns Chooses Georgia, will sign with the Bulldogs Wednesday

Just after 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, Madison Prep Academy, Baton Rouge, LA defensive back Major Burns announced his commitment to the University of Georgia and will sign his Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Bulldogs on Wednesday on Early Signing Day.

Burns took an official visit to Georgia this past weekend and chose UGA over LSU and Texas A&M.

At 6-foot-2 and 176 lbs, Burns is rated a 4-star safety by 247Sports as well as ESPN and Rivals. 247’s composite ranking system has Burns as the No. 11 safety, the No. 5 players from the state of Louisiana, and the No. 155 recruit overall nationally for 2020.
