The Georgia women’s tennis team was featured prominently in April’s ITA Attendance Race as the Bulldogs claimed two of the top three attendance marks for the month as well as the largest crowd of the regular season.

“It’s always nice to play at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex,” said Georgia head coach Jeff Wallace. “It’s such a great place to play. It’s really fun to compete in front of our home crowd.”

Georgia fans packed the Dan Magill Tennis Complex for the team’s match against rival Florida on April 8, claiming a national-best crowd of 1,032 for the SEC contest.

Just two days later, 411 fans came to Georgia’s senior day to honor Silvia Garcia in her final regular season home match. That crowd was the second-largest in the country in April and witnessed a 4-1 victory by the home side.

The Bulldogs will return to action next weekend as they host North Florida, Wake Forest and Baylor for the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. Tickets are on sale via georgiadogs.com for $5 for adults, $3 for children/students and free for children 2 and under.
