Denver East (CO) High School senior Arria Minor pledged to the University of Georgia on Friday, committing to a program that just earned the promise of another top recruit, Anna Hall, just three days ago.

Minor, a nationally elite sprinter in both indoor and outdoor track and field, is coming off a trip to the U20 Championships, where she was a member of Team USA’s 4×400 squad, and a third-place outing at USA Juniors in the 400m. She also scored her second straight title in the 400m at the Great Southwest Classic.

She scored personal records in the 100m (11.38w), 200m (22.89) and 400m (51.92) over the course of her junior campaign.

She was one of just two girls to break 52 seconds in the 400m last spring and one of five to cross the 23-second threshold. She has eight outdoor state titles to her name in Colorado and a national title in the 400m from New Balance Nationals Indoor.
