PixMob Wristbands Will Light Up Sanford Saturday Night

The UGA Athletic Association will distribute 65,000 PixMob wristbands pregame at Sanford Stadium on Saturday in a giveaway powered by Georgia Power.

Distribution will begin at 5:30 p.m. when the gates open on Saturday.  Wristbands will be distributed at Gates 1, 2, 3, 4, 4A, 6, 7, 9, and 10.  Fans are encouraged to be in their seats 25 minutes before kickoff, as the illuminated wristbands will begin to be featured soon after that mark.

PixMob wristbands are LED wristbands that are synchronized to create colors and patterns in the crowd in real-time through infrared light or radio frequency technology.  The wristbands are made of recycled plastics and can be recycled and refurbished after the game.

The No. 5 Bulldogs (3-0, 1-0 SEC) play host to No. 17 Alabama (2-1, 0-0) on Dooley Field in Sanford Stadium on Saturday.  ABC will televise the matchup at 7:30 p.m.
