The Bulldogs dropped 70 points in the all white uniform combo. This is the first time since 1915 that Georgia has scored 60 or more points in back-to-back games. Quite the impressive statistic. However, Kirby Smart wasn’t all that impressed.

“You’re going to have a lot of fluffy stats. I don’t care about stats. I really don’t,” he said.

The second half wasn’t the prettiest. In his press conference, Kirby Smart talked about never wearing the all white uniforms again if the team would continue to play how they did in the second half.

Gunner Stockton threw for 234 yards and five touchdowns. The defense recorded four turnovers, including two fumble recoveries and two interceptions. The Bulldogs move on to 2-0 and remain at No. 2 in the AP Poll.

It’s time to head to Fayetteville, Arkansas, for the first SEC matchup of the season. The Razorbacks posted a rough showing against Utah on Saturday, losing by 33 points. It’s a tough league. Arkansas looks to be towards the bottom of the SEC rankings, but the conference now holds an 8-2 record against out of conference P4 teams through week two.

The Hogs are in an interesting spot heading into this matchup. The quarterback room is in a battle for the starting spot. KJ Jackson was named the starter over Memphis transfer AJ Hill after fall camp but has since struggled. Jackson completed 14-of-34 passes against the Utes and was eventually replaced by Hill in the fourth quarter.

I’ve got to go back and watch the film, but there’s a reason why we chose KJ to be the quarterback,” said Arkansas head coach Ryan Silverfield after Saturday’s game.

Silverfield gave the Bulldogs some bulletin board material last September on his Memphis radio appearance. He talked about Georgia’s arrests not being his team’s standard.

At his SEC media appearance, Silverfield said he talks to his team about things that are happening within society. He then went on to say he has the “deep-most” respect for Kirby Smart and the Georgia athletic department. Time will tell whether or not these comments will bring the Bulldogs any extra motivation.

It’ll be another early kick. On the bright side, this team has now seen all types of weather after the heat of week one and rainstorms of week two. Rain or shine, the Bulldogs are conditioned for all types of weather.
