Tennessee -3.5 over Oklahoma

Saturday, Nov. 1, 7:30 PM

Neyland at night tells me all I need to know about this one. The Volunteers come into this matchup after rolling past Kentucky on the road. Oklahoma just let one slip away last weekend against Kiffin and the Rebels. Rocky Top will be out in full force as Tennessee clings to their CFP hopes. Roll with Tennessee -3.5 over the Sooners.

‌Duke +3.5 over Clemson

Saturday, Nov. 1, 12:00 PM

Dabo Swinney and the Tigers have been one of the biggest disappointments in college football. There doesn’t seem to be much life with Klubnik’s injury and overall struggles at the quarterback position. The Blue Devils nearly pulled off an upset against Georgia Tech, so a bounce back win will help Duke get one step closer to being bowl bound. Roll with Duke +3.5 over the Tigers.

‌Texas -2.5 over Vanderbilt

Saturday, Nov. 1, 12:00 PM

Say what you want about Texas and Arch Manning, but they have found ways to win since their loss to Oklahoma. This is another team that can’t afford to lose again if they want to make the CFP. While Vanderbilt is one of the nation’s best stories this season, I think Sark and the Longhorns do just enough in what might be a low scoring game. Roll with Texas -2.5 over Vanderbilt.

‌Purdue +21.5 over Michigan

Saturday, Nov. 1, 7:00 PM

This might be a longshot pick, but anytime I see a Big Ten game with a high spread, it’s worth a look. Purdue has lost six straight games, but Michigan has only won by three touchdowns or more once this season. Underwood and the Wolverines will win this one, but I think Purdue covers in a low-scoring battle. Roll with Purdue +21.5 over Michigan.

‌Mississippi State +4.5 over Arkansas

Saturday, Nov. 1, 4:00 PM

I’m surprised that Arkansas continues to be favored while being one of the worst teams in the SEC. The Maroon Bulldogs nearly took down Texas last weekend in what would’ve been their biggest win in quite some time. The Razorbacks don’t seem to have much direction after firing Pittman a few weeks ago. Though Arkansas is at home in this one, I think Mississippi State at least covers this line, if they don’t win outright. Roll with Mississippi State +4.5 over Arkansas.

‌SMU +10.5 over Miami

Saturday, Nov. 1, 12:00 PM

This one screams trap game. Carson Beck and the Hurricanes sit at 6-1 and at No. 10 in the AP Poll, but they have not exactly impressed me this year. SMU can put up points in a hurry, and it’s always tough for a highly ranked team to go on the road at noon and fully take care of business. While Miami probably does enough to leave Dallas with a win, the Mustangs have it in them to keep it close. Roll with SMU +10.5 over Miami.
