Describe Athens in three words: Food, music, football

Fave bars and restaurant in Athens: The kids and I love to walk to their school and get a morning roll from Independent Bakery and sometimes after school we hit Condor Chocolates. On date nights, it’s Donna Changs, Homemade, and The National.

Fave Athens landmark: One of our family’s favorite things to do is go enjoy The Herty Field Fountain in North Campus. We get ice cream from Ben & Jerrys downtown and then put our feet in the fountain. Perfection!

Describe your typical Bulldog game day: One of the best things about living in Athens is entertaining game-day guests. We usually make a big breakfast for everyone and go on a walk to see the early tailgaters and feel the gameday energy. My kids can’t miss the Dawg Walk so then we’ll watch that and hit the game.
