Who has been your big influence while being a player at Georgia and why?
[su_spacer size=”20″]

My biggest influence would be the offensive line as a whole. We are all best friends, we are always together, and ever since I arrived on campus those guys have had my back no matter the situation. It’s hard to find a group as special as that.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Do you have a game that sticks out in your mind as being one of your very best? What made it special?
[su_spacer size=”20″]

Auburn 2011. It was my freshman year and we had one of the best offensive lines in the country so none of us young guys thought we would get much playing time, especially in a big game like that. It ended up being a blowout and we got to play most of the 4th quarter and then do the victory formation. Going from not thinking you were going to play to that was a pretty cool experience for a freshman.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Your favorite sport other than football and why?
[su_spacer size=”20″]

Probably baseball because I was actually pretty good at it before I began focusing solely on football. I don’t really enjoy watching it, but I loved playing when I was growing up.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Who is your greatest role model and why?
[su_spacer size=”20″]

It’s hard to pick just one because I’ve had so many influential coaches, friends, and family members in my life but I would say the most consistent has been my dad. He had a long football career and is a great man who has always been there for me.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Do you have a funny story about a fellow offensive lineman you would like to share?
[su_spacer size=”20″]

I could share funny stories of those guys all day. I doubt I would be able to pick out just one though.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Your go to meal in Athens, why?
[su_spacer size=”40″]

Taqueria Del Sol. We go there at least once a week. It’s a great local spot with the best tacos in the world.

[su_spacer size=”40″] Your favorite band or song to listen to before games?
[su_spacer size=”20″]

I am actually a huge Lil Wayne & Drake fan.

[su_spacer size=”40″] What have you found to be the best way to stay grounded with all the hoopla that surrounds being a Division One football player?
[su_spacer size=”20″]

Just realizing this whole thing is bigger than yourself. No matter how successful or unsuccessful you are at the moment, it can change in an instant so the best thing to do is keep a level head, work hard, and focus on the things you can control.

[su_spacer size=”20″] Besides being an NFL player, what is your dream job and why?
[su_spacer size=”40″]

I would love to stay around football for as long as I can, maybe coaching high school or being a sports agent. I just want to be around the game.

[su_spacer size=”40″] What team do you like to beat the most and why?
[su_spacer size=”20″]

All of them, we work so hard year round and only get 13 chances to go out there and do our thing so each time we are successful, it’s a special feeling.
