Greg is closing in on 15 years writing about and photographing UGA sports. While often wrong and/or out of focus, it has been a long, strange trip full of fun and new friends.

1mandawgpack You might as well take a huge slug of the cherry-red ’cause Eason is the real deal.

Greg Poole Hobnailboot aka RobG RumRunnerDoogie just giving you a hard time

Bansai buckeroo she is only distracting if you are trying to pay attention to anything else

RumRunnerDoogie  I also think that it’s super cool that Eason is out hanging out with the high-profile QB’s (Fromm yesterday, Lawerence today).  He’s a true leader and realizes that his job isn’t to be insecure/petty but instead, to do everything in his power to help improve the program.  He hasn’t played a snap in a real game for us yet and I’m not going to drink all of the Kool-Aid, but it sure appears that we got a great one in Eason as he has all the tools (including the mental aspects of the position and personality to get people to follow him into battle) to be super special.

Greg Poole RumRunnerDoogie  I hope its Schumann – even though he’s a defensive coach, that guy has some attribute/trait that just draws recruits in.  He is definitely a recruiting machine.

Greg Poole  Maybe the closest trailer park.  While every school in the South has its share of sketchy fans, I’m convinced that 95% of UF’s fans never went to school there and represent the local riff-raff who live in every trailer park within a 50 mile radius of G’ville.

Greg Poole 1mandawgpack Lucas Rogers  EC, when Joe Burns was in school and playing at Tech, as much as it pained me conversing with and feeding the enemy, I’d buy him dinner periodically as he is a T’ville (and more importantly, TCC) native and as you know, we S. Georgian’s stick together.  Funny that when he made it to the NFL, he never returned the favor and I remind him of that every chance I get now that he’s a big shot running Rising Seniors.

1mandawgpack I think the staff has been back and forth on him but, right now, it appears they are after him

Greg Poole  I’d love to sign this young man.  What he lacks in height, he more than makes up in athletic ability and sheer determination.  I watched him play a lot last year and he was, by far, the best player on a loaded Archer team.

Lucas Rogers  My daughter plays in a travel softball tournament in Chat. towards the end of the month – if you’re around, I’d be happy to buy a starving college student dinner one night.  I think the tournament is Thursday, June 23 through that Sunday, assuming we make it that far.

Sorry for the delayed response..got a run in before it’s surface of the sun hot. From the Reed Creek area of Lake Hartwell, aka “The Creek” home to some good folks, good fishing and Swamp Guinea..life is good here.
