Sepp Straka and Harris English secured the first two wins of the PGA Tour season at the American Express and the Farmers Insurance Open, respectively. The Dawgs on fire followed the back-to-back wins with eight Dawgs competing for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am as Straka and Russell Henley finished in the top seven at -16 and -17, respectively…
Straka’s win in the opening event of the year saw him finish the week at an astounding -25 while English’s win at the Farmers Insurance Open saw him finish at -8. The two Dawgs are comfortably in the top 40 of the Official World Golf Ranking. Four Dawgs on Tour find themselves in those coveted 40 spots: Henley at No. 14, Straka at No. 16, English at No. 35 and Brian Harman at No. 36.
In Straka’s most recent outing at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, he finished day one tied for second with a 65 on the day, trailing only Henley who shot a 64. Straka continued his hot streak, finishing day two and three as the sole leader. On Sunday, four bogeys hurt him as he finished even on the day and finished the tournament tied for seventh. Throughout the weekend, Straka was seen sporting a scorecard in his back pocket with “DAWGS” monogrammed on the outside hanging out of the pocket.

Russell Henley finished the weekend tied for fifth at -17.
The week prior, as English raised the Farmers Insurance Open Trophy, former Dawg Greyson Sigg finished up a huge weekend at -2, good for tied for ninth. This was his ninth top-10 finish and a major step in the right direction as he kicks off 2025.
On the note of the Dawgs on Tour, a newest member of the prestigious crew made his PGA debut at the American Express with a longtime friend on the bag…
Will Chandler finished up his UGA career in 2021. After a long, strenuous drag through Q-School and the Korn Ferry Tour, Chandler finally earned his Tour card prior to the beginning of 2025. Upon the news, Chandler called his roommate and teammate at Georgia Will Kahlstorf, an Athens native working in Nashville following his golf career as a Bulldog. He asked Kahlstorf if he would come hop on the bag and be his caddy as he navigates the complexities of courses throughout the PGA Tour season. Kahlstorf said yes and the two look to take on the Tour together!

All the successes from the Dawgs on Tour is much expected as Head Coach Chris Haack has put so many talented young men on Tour, but the start to the 2025 Tour slate is unprecedented for these alumni.
