I wonder if the philosophy ‘switch’ on inside linebackers is less about scheme than just dealing with no huddle teams? (A 225 pound LB likely wouldn’t struggle as much against the run as a 250 pound LB may on 3rd down against the pass)…

Thanks that was a great 7 minutes to be able to listen and chill while reading the posts. The Doors were awesome

  3. RobDawg

That was cool to hear Rocker give a small but important critique about keeping head and eyes up after shedding blocker and ALL of them did it right next drill. Can’t wait!

bahits Sure you can, you can see a skillful coach using the media to motivate his players

Greg Poole Knowing who and when to praise or critic is the art of leadership.   At that point, I don’t think we can read anything out of his praise or criticism.

Refresh page and some of the Tweets along with the audio from Kirby’s presser up top. Most recent podcasts and interviews on SoundCloud playlist have been updated.
Also, new pictures from Monday’s and Tuesday’s practice are in the Fall Camp Gallery if you would like to take a look at those.
Greg Poole will have a photo gallery from today’s practice up tomorrow as well.

AJC guy asks about going swimming at Ramsey – Kirby looks at him like he has 3 heads – predicted headline”Smart Drowns Another Richt Tradition”

  8. Greg Poole

Kirby is not giving ANYBODY praise unless they really impress him – dogging Godwin today.

Bulldawg36  Gaillard is a redshirt sophomore, I expected to him to be competing this year for a start. At the very least I thought he would be high on the depth chart as the no.2 guard behind either of the starting guards.

Barnett too. I feel pretty good about those three sophomores. Sounds like Carter is ready to go too! Free Rochester!

bahits Bulldawg Bob2  He was at practice on a stationary bike next to Mauger. Pic down below. I think they will both be ready to go by UNC.

bahits Bulldawg Bob2 with you bahits — the kid is still only 17 years old — i believe his birthday is the end of this month

  13. Bulldawg36

I guess it boils down to one of issues that a first year coach is left with from the previous coaching staff. A few suspensions and injuries to one position group. Then you scrambling to make things work for a big opener.

Bulldawg Bob2 If he is on him, then I bet Ben is doing great, but Kirb and Pittman see much more potential.  If Cleveland isn’t a dominator a couple games into next season, then something is wrong with the orbit of the earth.
