You know what makes me happy? Knowing that when Paul Johnson leaves GT, they will have an offense full of undersized lineman who don’t know how to pass block, QB’s who can’t throw the ball downfield, and WR’s who only know how to run 4 or 5 routes. It’s gonna be fun to watch.

skidawaydawg  Are you sure it is a BI ad? To my knowledge, we don’t advertise GT tickets, fan memorabilia or items. It is probably a pop-up ad separate from BI.

revtizzy To be honest. I cannot remember, but I don’t think the team went only if the weather was bad. It was just a tradition he had with the team.
I don’t find anything wrong with it, but it can be a gamble that a team would lose more than that 1 day of practice when you have a finite number to work with.

  4. RobDawg

Nothing positive for a Dawg fan will come from watching that game. Don’t put yourself through it. Seriously

I have never watched it. I was out of country last year. I’m recording it now but not sure I can bring myself to watch it still. Come to think of it I will be in Europe this year when they play. Hoping for a different result…

  6. Bulldawg Bob2

Avon Barksdale LOL. He would be allowed to play but I think he would be getting a lot of flags under the current rules

  7. revtizzy

Bulldawg Bob2 Isn’t that often when they went to Ramsey, when weather was expected to be bad or even really, really hot?  Or am I mis-remembering.

  8. Avon Barksdale

Would Thomas Davis even be allowed to play in today’s NCAA? That guy was an absolute terror!

  9. Bulldawg Bob2

I think a lot of fans didn’t realize that the pool day at the Ramsey Center counted as a practice.
Nothing wrong with it of course. It was fun, gave the players a break, and you could argue was a team building exercise.
However, teams only have 29 practices. If practice is started, and bad weather causes it to be cut short, it still counts as a practice whether it was 5 to 10 minutes or a couple of hours.

Malik had to go ahead and commit if Fromm threw for 300 or more, but I don’t remember what Fromm had at risk

Would rather have all my teeth pulled and drink a nice cold can of Clorox than watch that game again

  12. JaxDawg

Yes!!! It felt like I was in a final exam for a class in my dream I was unprepared for that lasted a bazillion hours and left me with more questions about life than I had going in!!!!

Watch out for the young QB at South Forsyth in the game vs Hill Grove 8/19 at 8:30. I was very very impressed with him last year against our HS team and then in playoffs vs Colquitt. He is already committed to W Kentucky I think but his stock could rise

  14. Bulldawg Bob2

RobDawg  Aye. Coach Smart already had the team on the lake Sunday July 31st before the first day of practice.

They already did the swim/dive thing this year at Miami. Richt will keep doing his thing and Kirby will start his own things

  17. Bulldawg Bob2

Avon Barksdale  Thomas Davis and Alec Ogletree would like to have a word with you there 🙂
